We’re off Thursday 17th March. It’s been a tricky project to set up with the recent changes, but we have great contacts and are confident on reaching the children.
We start first thing Friday morning in Dunkirk, bringing our special Children’s World’s brand of joy, light relief and nourishment-for-the-human-spirit.
Working alongside Dunkirk Kids’ Welfare and the Calais Women’s and Children’s Centre and Justine Corrie, from Aid & Solidarity with Refugees – from Bruton, Frome & Glastonbury, we will be performing and running workshops for children and families in both camps and also volunteering our skills.
We hope to give a daily update via our Facebook page which can be found by clicking here.
A report of the trip will be published here as soon as possible after we return.
